A pair of Beta lounge chair designed by Tim Bates for the premium British furniture manufacturer Pieff. Produced during the 1970s, these chairs are iconic examples of British Mid-Century Modern. Heavy tubular mirrored chrome-plated steel frame, high-quality tufted black leather, and down-curved leather-wrapped armrests. Built with robust Pirelli rubber webbing beneath the seat cushions to provide a signature "floating" comfort. Measure 60cm wide, 78cm long, 63cm high with a seat height of 40cm. All in very good condition with some age related wear to the leather. Chrome all in good order. Some sun bleaching to back of one of seat holding. Based in Wokingham or delivery within 100 miles radius of Wokingham.
