Bottom side pads protects table top surfaces from scratching. It mounts the TV high enough to provide space for your speaker sound-bar, DVD Player or Sky Box. It supports maximum VESA 400 X 300. VESA is a standard of 4 bolts pattern at the back of TV for the purpose of TV mounting.
